One moment you're adventuring in a dungeon level that has monsters you can manage, getting exp and loot, next thing you know, you hit a pitfall or teleporter. It got really thrilling when the unexpected happend. It was so exciting exploring the different guilds, races, spells and tracking down bounties. The main characters would be made in the same way with the additional perk of having a healer to prevent aging. The tanks would babysit the healer and level him by exp leeching. They would get beefed up for a while, collect tomes which would facilitate an easy creation of a healer. I eventually figured out to make some tanky guys first.

Starting out with default stats, figuring out how to join guilds, weighing out the risk in continuing in the dungeon vs heading back to town.
This was a game that I sunk hours playing with by brother.I liked how punishing this game was to the uninformed.
